SANDENIT SE310 is adhesive suitable for fixing thermo-insulation polystyrene boards and reinforcing fiberglass mesh.

APPLICATION:

For fixing thermo-insulation polystyrene boards (extruded polystyrene) on solid façade surfaces, fixing of reinforcing fiberglass mesh and for spatula covering of complete thermo-insulation system surface.

TEMPERATURE OF SURFACE AND AIR:

from +8°C to +25°C.

AIR HUMIDITY:

max. 80%.

OPEN WORK TIME:

min. 20 minutes.

RECOMMENDED TIME OF CONSUMPTION:

in 1,5-2 hours. Possibility of fixing corners and fiberglass mesh after cca. 24 hours. Time of drying for spatula mass (before covering of final layer) is min. 7 days.

CONSUMPTION:

cca 4-5 kg/m2 for fixing depending on surface and cca 4kg for spatula covering.

SURFACE:

Surface needs to be solid, dry, clean, supporting, non frozen, without cracks, without residues of old oil or colour. Imperfections on the wall that are over 5mm fill previously with cement-lime mortar.

PREPARATION:

Mix the adhesive in a bucket with clear water. Mix 1 kg of adhesive with 3.5 dl of water to complete homogenization. Let it sit undisturbed for cca.15 minutes and stir the adhesive again to achieve proper density. Do not add any additives into the adhesive.

FIXING:

Apply adhesive across the middle and alongside the edges of the boards under the angle of 45° from the external side and press gently the board on the surface. Adhesive can be applied mechanically on the sheet – strips alongside the edges and 2-3 strips across the middle.

SPATULA USE:

Put the adhesive on grinded and dusted polystyrene boards with metal square-notch trowel in thicknessi cca. 2-3mm.

IMPORTANT:

Flat surface cannot be achieved with additional spatula layers or leveling. Between joints of boards there shouldn’t be any adhesive, because it causes thermal bridges. Joints to 2mm fill with silicone and PU foam, over 2mm with polystyrene strips. Press fiberglass mesh into fresh adhesive with minimum 10cm overlapping, level with adding new material. Mesh must be completely covered, but thickness of adhesive needs to be min 3-4mm. This product can be used and for spatula covering of 4mm thick thermo-insulation facades. For bigger imperfections put 2 layers.

FINAL WORK:

Protect reinforcing layer from rapid drying and freezing. Final work is possible after 7 days drying.

STORAGE:

Upto 12 months in conditions prescribed for storage of cement.
